Matthew 17:20
Center Cross Church GRAINS Ministry is a special needs ministry that encompasses all of Center Cross Church. It is not a stand alone ministry, but rather supports all ministries of the church to provide inclusion for all.
Together, our leaders and volunteers will teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ways that are age and ability appropriate.
In the community, Center Cross Church GRAINS Ministry, wants to be the hands and feet of Jesus! We want to host events to celebrate all different types of special needs, as everyone is loved the same. If there is a need in the community, we want to serve. Serving may look like partnering with other special needs organizations, doing a kind gesture to say thank you for helping those with special needs, or a donation drive within our church, to provide resources needed at different locations.
Our Ministry also has a state/community resource list to help families of those with special needs, available upon request.
- Guidance: Offering direction and support for learning Christ
- Resourcefulness: Encouraging creative learning and adaptability in all situations
- Acceptance: Embracing differences and fostering an inclusive environment
- Inspiration: Motivating individuals to reach their full potential, despite obstacles
- Network: Building a supportive community, including family, peers, and educators
- Success: Celebrating milestones, no matter how big or small, as a step toward understanding the word of Christ
